Life is not always about money but we cannot deny the fact that it has a big impact on us. At some point in our lives, we all have been in situations where we were at a disadvantage for not having enough of it. Maybe you were in debt trying to make ends meet or wanted to take your dream vacation or maybe it was something as simple as buying a dress that you loved, we can all agree that the lack of money can keep us from enjoying life fully. So here are some of my tips to attract more money so that we could live the life we’ve always wanted. Here are 7 simple ways you can attract more money in your life.
Tip 1. You have to Educate yourself.
A lot of times, we don’t know what we deserve when it comes to money. We don’t know what salary range we should be in, how much we should be investing or saving, how we should budget for our expenses and other areas concerning this. What happens is we end up ignoring this until it blows up in our face. We don’t do anything about our financial situation. What we fail to realize is that the answer lies in us, and when we just educate ourselves. Educating ourselves on our jobs or in our business will also give us the confidence to fo after opportunities and promotions. We also have to be open to the education. Sometimes we think we know everything, and we blow off suggestions. As they say, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. When you’re ready and coachable and willing to seek more information, you’ll come across somebody who can help you.
Tip 2. Your network is equivalent to your net worth.
You are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Take a look at who you surround yourself with. Is everyone around you broke, struggling and in debt? Are they interested in getting out of it or are they making excuses for themselves? Look at who is around you and influencing you. It’s most likely that you also share the same values habits and attitude about money. When I decided that I was going to take control of my finances, there were just people who fell out of my network. I knew that I had a mission, a goal I wanted to achieve. I didn't let anybody stop me or distract me from that goal. I didn’t have time for the people in my life who were always complaining about being broke and not doing anything about it. You don’t have to avoid them. Just do you, and be the best version of yourself. Once they realize that you’re not feeding into their sob story, they will just stop calling. We must surround ourselves with women who are lifting us up, empowering us and helping us reach our goals and our true potential.
Tip 3. Discipline yourself to do the things that you should be doing even when you don’t feel like doing them.
Sometimes when our feelings are involved, we easily get swayed and we let it rule our life without thinking logically. The trick is when you don’t feel like doing something, force yourself to do it right away at that moment. Don’t give yourself a chance to make up excuses that you’re too tired or that you’ll just do it tomorrow. Nobody else is going to do those things for you so it’s really important to discipline yourself. It will help your finances, your job, and your life.
Tip 4. Share your knowledge.
You will always have a skill or a talent that others won’t know how to do. You’re here to share that to others. Know what you have is valuable, and you can and should get paid for it. It’s okay to share your gifts and make money while doing it. Don’t discount your knowledge because there are people out there who want it, and are willing to pay full price. Learn to make money out of something that you do regularly.
Tip 5. Ask for help when it comes to making money.
I always thought I was a do it yourself queen but the truth is you don’t always know everything. There are people who are willing and able to help you. Stay in your genius zone, and when there is something you do not know seek help. If you don’t know about stocks, do some research and ask an expert. If you are the best at baking cupcakes but don’t know how to sell them. Then find an amazing marketer who will allow you to market them. That’s teamwork right there because you are both in your own genius zones and yet you are helping each other achieve each of your goals, and make money. Learning to ask for help from mentors can propel you to the next level in your career or business, and that will result in more money!
Tip 6. Learn from successful people.
I didn't realize just how much successful people were studied before until I was ready and able to learn about them. There’s so much information. The only problem is we’re too busy taking advice from broke people or people who don’t know what they’re talking about. We’re in a cycle of learning broke habits from broke people instead of learning successful habits from successful people. There are so many resources on the internet, or in books. A lot of this information is free.
Tip 7. Learn from your failures.
I used to be so afraid to fail. I was afraid to look stupid, but, I had to accept the fact that I am human. I’m not perfect, but I am real. I fail all the time but learning from our failures is what propels us to the next level. I'm becoming successful because I fail over and over again. If I was so afraid of failing I wouldn't have started a blog or a business I wouldn't have started anything. ,but I realize, you will fail your way to success. If you want to know how to be successful faster or how to make more money faster, you also have to fail faster. The most important thing is to learn from your mistakes.
